This story begins with a New York hotel room key. Actress and singer/songwriter, Caitlin Crosby, started wearing the hotel key as a necklace while on tour and had the idea to start engraving old, used keys with inspirational words. Realizing that, in a way, we are all like these keys – unique, flawed, scarred, and sometimes discarded by others – she wanted these keys to have their purpose renewed over and over again.

Caitlin always knew she wanted a charitable dimension to The Giving Keys, and within a few months she found the missing link. On a rainy day walking on Hollywood Boulevard, Caitlin saw a couple named Rob and Cera sitting under an umbrella holding a sign that read Ugly, Broke, & Hungry. Caitlin invited them to dinner, where she serendipitously discovered that Cera made jewelry. This was a magical a-ha moment where Caitlin asked them to be her business partners. Rob and Cera joined the team and started making Giving Keys the very next day.

Step by step, Rob and Cera saved enough money for a hotel room, then an apartment, and then a home to call their own! Today, they are living in San Diego where Rob works for the San Diego Zoo and Cera is also employed.

This was the start of our company's passion to help those who have been affected by homelessness. Read more about our impact here.

Today, The Giving Keys are carried in over 1200 stores in the US and internationally including Nordstrom, Fred Segal and Kitson. We are busier than ever making keys for you – our community. Our products are worn proudly and intentionally by individuals from all walks of life who want to be inspired and touch others with their words.

Born in upstate New York, Heather Charlick studied handmade jewelry design at NYC's Fashion Institute of Technology, where she began her love affair with handcrafted jewelry. After graduating she fled the noise of the city and found her way to the Caribbean Island of St. Martin where she lived on a catamaran, dove for buried treasure & sold her unique handcrafted jewelry on the beach.
Restless for new challenges, she studied silver in Mexico, surfing in Hawaii and French in Paris before returning to the States. Miami Beach was on the verge of being reborn and had everything she loved...the excitement of the city and the warmth of the beach. There she went onto conceptualize & own Bash nightclub with actor Sean Penn and Simply Red's singer Mick Hucknell. This was the predecessor to the original Nikki Beach in Miami which now has locations worldwide.

After settling down and living by the beach in southern California she met the love of her life and got married at the local equestrian center.  Once she became a horse owner it was time to look for greener pastures and today she lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her horses Sunny & Libby, her dog Nigel and of course her husband.  Her handcrafted rugged & romantic jewelry is now in galleries and boutiques across North America instead of on the beach.

Each handcrafted romantic creation is hand carved with poetic etchings and words of inspiration before being dipped in sterling or 14k gold using several age-old techniques such as lost wax casting. Island Cowgirl Jewelry strives to create not just unique handmade jewelry but "wear forever" keepsakes.

Influenced by her years in the islands and her home out west Heather now devotes her days to creating beauty.

Uno de 50 was created in the late 90's by the hand of a creative team who decided to create a style of jewelry that broke away from everything that existed until then. Tradition and modernity merged together to shape a different brand, with an ever-present handcrafted spirit that reflects exclusivity through design and quality..

The brand began with the exclusive philosophy of creating 50 units of each design, hence its name. Over time and through its rapid success, the brand increased production but still retained the name to remember, just as on the first day, that quality and exclusivity of each design are a priority. Today the company also continues to fulfill its promise of exclusivity through limited editions of 50 pieces that are released with each collection.

The icon of the Spanish jewelry brand, the small padlock, contains much more than a name. With a rounded shape and a handcrafted character, it was designed to symbolize the protection of exclusive uniquely designed jewelry.

Moonglow jewelry is a hand-crafted specialty line that has cultivated a loyal following with its unique concept that brings jewelry to life! Each piece of Moonglow Jewelry has a personality, message and personal significance. What is most rewarding to us is that each pendant, necklace or bracelet offers a unique and personal story and emotional experience. Select a date of significance, such as a birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding, etc., and Moonglow calculates the phase of the moon from that day.

Your personalized pendant is then crafted with a framed image of that moon phase! The moon absorbs light during the day and glows in darkness, a gentle reminder of the things that mean the most to you.
